Any person that is transporting freight in a commercial vehicle for more than a 100 air mile radius from their home base, and weighs more than 10,000 lbs., truck, trailer, and freight. (I am not going into HAZ-MAT requirements in this post). ALOT of guys think that just because they are in a pick-up truck, or just because they run under 26,000 lbs., that they are exempt from running a log book. NOT TRUE.
