When I first started my company I had to have IFTA because I was registered at 36,000 lbs. Well I went lighter to under 26,000 and just let my IFTA expire. BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!! I have been fighting with the Motor Carrier to get my account opened back up. Now I have to buy a bond for $3250.00 and carry it for 3 years. I have been trying to get back on the road for 2 weeks now and I have finally gotten the answer today. Granted, I didnt handle the account the proper way. I needed to call the Motor Carrier division and CLOSE the account. Just FYI.

Good luck with it Brad, I got all my stuff ready now, I will be loading Monday I guess. I couldnt really put anything solid together today. Loading this bigger trailer is a whole different ball game.
